The Good Food Co.

Once when I was in high school, a relative from out of town asked me about nightlife in this city. I had no answer for them because partying has never been and never will be my thing. A college classmate even called me an alien for not having plans on a Friday night, as if wanting a chill evening at home was a completely out of this world concept.

(Listen, I'm not judging you for whatever you like to do on your weekends so mind your own business and leave me to enjoy my "alien" interests, you silly human.)

Clearly I still think of that guy as a jerk, but anyway my point is that I am not the type of person you'll catch dead in Matina Town Square at night. It's a place that has changed a lot over the years. These days they've got quite a number of restaurants or something, and it's become some sort of entertainment hub that's apparently quite lively at night.

It is here that The Good Food Co. sits, conveniently next to the public restrooms so you don't have to walk too far if you drank too much water (don't worry, it's clean). They open just in time for lunch, though I suppose that depends on what time you usually eat your meal.

As usual, my brother was the one who found this place online. He had high expectations. After all, you can't call yourself "The Good Food Co." if you don't serve good food! Thankfully, his expectations were met and he left satisfied.

My mom tried two of their off menu specials. Both the salad and the jagerschnitzel were good, though by the time the latter arrived, my mom was already almost full from the salad... My brother and I both had pasta. Mine had squid and mushrooms, while my brother's was seafood. I liked mine a lot! So much that I actually finished the entire thing!

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I suppose my only advice is know your own capacity? For us, the jagerschnitzel was already too much on top of the chicken salad, but it could be completely different for you.

If you somehow find yourself in the area, I think this place is worth a try!
